THERE IS NO WARRANTY FOR THE PROGRAM, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW. To cite from the license (section 15., Disclaimer of Warranty): Priority is that I can manage all necessary changes. Please note that all times are tentative, and may be changed without further notice. This will also deprecate the Pandoc command, as it is very error prone and instead switch to a customizable UI in the preferences where you can turn the cogs of many supported options.

Additionally, I plan to fully rebuild the exporter so that it's much more stable and can deal with Pandoc better. Release 1.9.0 (February–April 2021): 32bit builds will be discontinued. Please report if uninstalling your system wide Pandoc installation breaks Zettlr's exporter. If that is the case, and you don't want Pandoc installed separately, you can at this point uninstall your own Pandoc binary, as Zettlr can successfully export without external tools. I will probably also shoot a message whether or not Zettlr has successfully used the internal Pandoc binary instead of your system. Release 1.8.5 (January/February 2021): The app will begin using the bundled Pandoc version, if applicable. If you have a 64bit system and this message appears: that's a bug, please report! This does not apply to third-party builds, such as the Arch Linux release, which is being provided independent from me.

This means that you must upgrade your operating system, if you wish to continue using Zettlr. If you have a 32bit build that does not contain Pandoc bundled, you will see a message indicating that. Release 1.8.4 (December 2020): Begin bundling the Pandoc binary with the 64bit builds (Windows, macOS, and Linux alike).I've tested the packaging process out: everything works perfectly. Right now, everything is set up so that the CI toolchain will already bundle the pre-built Pandoc binaries with the appropriate installers (download them from the GitHub repository and then bundle them with the app).

As promised, here's a short roadmap for how we'll proceed with migrating Zettlr from having to install Pandoc manually to Zettlr shipping with the binary.
